The partnership between British rocker Justin Adams and Gambian griot Juldeh Camara is an almost spiritual connection. Camara, who followed in his father’s footsteps as a wandering musician and poet, initiated the relationship after hearing Adams’ CD. Adams, who has worked with the likes of Robert Plant, Brian Eno, and Peter Gabriel, immediately recognized the chemistry. Their album, Tell No Lies, is out now. The two will perform their hybrid of Clash-esque rock, blues, and African rhythms at the Lincoln Center Festival on Tuesday, July 21. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20 - $30.
