Beyond the ordinary: Beyond the Pale draws from a different folk tradition. On its Old World-charming album “Postcards” (Borealis Records), the eclectic Toronto klezmer sextet takes inspiration from the vanishing cultures of Eastern Europe to create what Dizzy’s, the downtown venue in the Harbor Club Towers, bills as “Eurofolk fusion.” And, yes, Beyond the Pale’s “Jewish-Balkan twang” is jazzed up enough to occasion a Dizzy’s date (8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6; $15, students $10).
