-- Goran Bregovic and the Wedding & Funeral Orchestra played an SFJazz show at the Masonic over the weekend, and J.D. Savio reports he was sitting right behind Tom Waits and his family. The music was rhythmic; many audience members couldn't resist dancing in the aisles, and after a while, Savio observed, Waits "started to dance in the aisle, too." His sons, says Savio, looked like the sons of any parent who dances in the aisles. They weren't proud. Hey guys, it was Father's Day. Cut him some slack. -Leah Garchik
