ELECTROPHONE MUSIC
HUUN HUUR TU-CARMEN RIZZO/Eternal:  When Tu was working at a purely ethnic level, we knew that we were supposed to like it, but often it was too remote for the average gringo to get into.  Now, working with a couple of stateside cats well versed in soundscapes and other techno moves, the Tuva sound is brought into a new time zone where it easily moves into new age, techno and more easily relateable modes becoming perfect sonic getaway music for a stressed out adult that isn’t necessarily looking for something mellow but keenly needs something different.  Certainly not the Tu you are used to but certainly a mind blower to listen to whether hitting the open road or the gym and mindless music just won’t cut it.  You can bet Peter Gabriel wishes he got to this first.  Check it out.
