Tinariwen: The Best Thing to Wander out of the Desert Since the Ancient Hebrews

Tinariwen is making their way across the United States this summer, after taking part in the World Cup festivities in Johannesburg, they will be playing the must see show at the Central Park Summer Stage on June 26th, and the next night with our pals in The Sway Machinery the next night at The Bell House in Brooklyn .  I'm usually careful to label anything a "religious experience," but the group of Sahara wanders come close to pulling it off.
