After 25 years of performing traditional Celtic music around the world, Altan is showing no signs of slowing down. The six-member Irish band is busy promoting its new silver-anniversary album, a live disc recorded with Ireland's RTE Concert Orchestra. To do that, the band launched a month-long U.S. tour. Capital Region Altan fans also have reason to celebrate; the band will make a stop at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall this week. 8 p.m. Friday. $20-$29.
