CHARLOTTE: Irish band turns 25

Celebrate Irish band Altan's 25 years of making music with a concert at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center, 378 State St., on March 26.

Altan has played with the Chieftains, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Raitt and Alison Krauss. The band has hit gold and platinum status in Ireland and has played the Sydney Opera House and the Hollywood Bowl.
