Festival Description

The festival features a rich and diverse program of Yiddish and Jewish culture through the visual and performing arts. The events include music, theater, dance, film, workshops, talks, visual arts, children’s activities, marketplace vendors and more. The first edition of the festival took place in 1995 and has since taken place every two years. The multi-disciplinary nature of the festival appeals to a broad spectrum of festival goers of all ages and interests and is considered the largest Jewish cultural event in Canada.
