A Fucked Up Christmas

Many were shocked to see Toronto hardcore art punks Fucked Up walk away with last year’s Polaris Prize, but even the most hardened cynic had to be pleased with how they used the $20,000 prize money. With a who’s who of the indie world, including Vampire Weekend, Bob Mould and David Cross, the band recorded a modern update of Do They Know It’s Christmas? and donated all the proceeds to Canadian organizations focused on missing and murdered indigenous women.
