Who: At any time the membership of Broken Social Scene can range between six and nineteen members. The group was formed by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning in Toronto and consists of band mates who are part of multiple music acts. The supergroup has released four studio albums and their songs have been featured on a number of film and television soundtracks, including Wicker Park and Queer As Folk.

Sounds Like: A combination of all members and their groups, including Feist, Metric, Stars, Apostle of Hustle and The Weakerthans.

Didjya Know: A performance by Broken Social Scene at Toronto’s Harbourfront in July of 2009 was used in the film This Movie Is Broken. The combination documentary/fictional film centred around a couple attending the Harbourfront show.
