EVENT: Tonight join Susan McKeown and Students from East Village Community School for Songs from the East Village: A Musical Evening. "Children from EVCS celebrate our city's roots with folk songs old and new. This album is the first-ever project to preserve and tell stories of New York City's largest immigrant population: children. Don't miss this chance to witness the next generation of American Idols performing songs from all over the globe. Ms. McKeown will introduce the project, which she led, and then students will perform folk songs from the album."
