Irish fiddling champion Eileen Ivers brings her unique sound to Harrisburg

Eileen Ivers, the nine time All-American Fiddle Champion, will deliver a captivating performance along with her band Sunday at the Whitaker Center.
Considered “the Jimi Hendrix of the violin” by The New York Times, Eileen Ivers is revolutionizing the Irish fiddling tradition and making it her own.
The daughter of Irish immigrants, Ivers has accomplished a list of achievements including, receiving a Grammy Award, performances at the Kennedy Center, a member of the cast of Riverdance and her music has even been heard on the soundtrack of major motion pictures such as “The Gangs of New York.”
