Driftwood entered its second month of publication this week. Let’s take a look at some of the artists, both well known and (er) not so well known, bouncing around the U.S. this fall.
Eileen Ivers, the “Jimi Hendrix of the violin,” best known for her work with early Riverdance shows, starts a U.S. tour on September 17 with her band Immigrant Soul. The tour will start in Salisbury, Massachusetts, and hop around New England (including a two-night stand in Portland, Maine, with the city’s orchestra) before heading all the way across the country to Berkeley and Pasadena.
