One of Celtic music's most dynamic artists, Irish American fiddler Eileen Ivers has honed a fiercely grooving sound with her band Immigrant Soul, blending traditional jigs, reels and hornpipes with R&B, blues and West African beats. Her original tunes often explore the sense of loss and longing experienced by the immigrants who left Ireland knowing they'd never see home again.
