Ballaké Sissoko And Vincent Ségal: Music Of The Globe

The legendary kora player Ballaké Sissoko recently joined his talents with the notable cellist Vincent Ségal in order to produce an album titled Chamber Music. The classical album, expected to be released on Jan. 11, mixes the duo’s passion for music and lets their rich-voiced instruments shine. The pair will make their U.S. debut in this year’s Globalfest event at Webster Hall on Jan. 9 to perform pieces from their release. The event features a wide variety of cultural music. Tickets range from $35 to $40 for the 7 p.m. show.
