Last month, we learned that reclusive Neutral Milk Hotel frontman Jeff Mangum would play a set at the Portishead-curated ATP I'll Be Your Mirror Festival, which comes to Asbury Park, New Jersey on September 30. We also reported that Mangum would play a few more shows this fall. Now, New York's Wordless Music Series has announced a pair of Mangum solo shows. On September 10, he'll play at Jordan Hall at New England Conservatory. And the night before, September 9, Wordless says that Mangum will play at "an historic 1,150-capacity venue to be announced next week," according to a press release.

UPDATE: Mangum has just announced a run of East Coast shows, running from August to November. Check out the dates below.

Mangum will also curate and headline an All Tomorrow's Parties festival at Butlins Holiday Centre in Minehead, England December 2-4. Mangum will pick more than 40 acts for the festival, and he'll also play more than one solo acoustic set at the festival's small Centre Stage venue. The first group of acts on the lineup include Superchunk, the Olivia Tremor Control, Young Marble Giants, Tinariwen, the Apples in Stereo, the Magic Band, and A Hawk and a Hacksaw. Also, postpunk originators the Raincoats will play their 1979 self-titled debut album in full. Head over to the ATP website for all the details.
