Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum has been named as curator of this December’s All Tomorrow’s Parties festival at Butlin’s, Minehead.
Talk of his return to our shores has been rising ever since a clip of last December's live performance in a Brooklyn loft appeared on Pitchfork’s website. Having not performed in the UK for over a decade, this news will delight all the 'Two Headed Boy' lovers.
Neutral Milk Hotel were together throughout the 90s and were highly acclaimed. I strongly recommend a listen to second record In The Aeroplane Over The Sea for those who haven’t already done so.
Acts confirmed to play thus far include The Olivia Tremor Control, A Hawk And A Hacksaw, The Apples In Stereo and of course a live set from Jeff Mangum himself. With many more to be announced this looks set to an unmissable event.
