Jeff Mangum, frontman for Neutral Milk Hotel, has been announced as the curator of the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead, England. 

The three day event runs December 2 - 4. 

As master of ceremonies, Mangum will headline the Festival and is expected to play more than once, performing a solo acoustic set in the intimate Centre Stage venue. The musician will also choose close to 40 acts to play throughout the weekend on three indoor stages.

A first look at the line-up Mangum has chosen include: Superchunk, The Olivia Tremor Control, Young Marble Giants, The Magic Band, The Raincoats performing The Raincoats (debut LP in its entirety), A Hawk and a Hacksaw, Tinariwen, and the Apples in Stereo.

Mangum has kept a low profile since the 1998 release of In an Aeroplane Over the Sea showing up every two to four years featured on someone's album contributing to The Apples in Stereo, Circulatory System, and a Chris Knox tribute album.

Neutral Milk Hotel disbanded before many of those who now love their albums had a chance to see the songs performed live, so Jeff's much anticipated return to the live stage this year will no doubt be a very special occasion for fans throughout the UK and worldwide.

In addition to the ATP Festival, Magnum has scheduled nine solo dates including The Wordless Music Series in New York and joining Portishead’s I'll Be Your Mirror event.
