Jewish Music Festival
March 5-13
The line-up includes Yemen Blues, a band that mixes Yemenite chants, Middle Eastern lute, Afrobeat, funk and jazz, founded by Yemenite-Jewish singer Ravid Kahalani; Odessa/Havana; a mandolin ensemble; and violinist Noah Bendix-Balgley playing Jewish folk music. The finale: an all-ages klezmer dance party complete with a Jewish dance instructor.
