Saw Doctors set for U.S. tour, New York date changed

The date of one of the two upcoming New York shows by The Saw Doctors has been changed, with Live Nation announcing that the Irving Plaza gig on Sunday March 13th has now been switched to the previous Friday, March 11th at the same venue. Therefore the revised Irving Plaza dates are Friday March 11th and Saturday March 12th.

The band’s full U.S. tour opens in Uncasville, CT on Thursday March 3rd at the Mohegan Sun Casino. They also play Boston’s House of Blues on Friday, March 4th, and the Stone Pony in New Jersey on Thursday March 10th. In all The Saw Doctors will play 18 shows across the country to promote their new studio album, the critically-acclaimed The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors. Tickets for all gigs are now on sale at ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster outlets.

The Tuam rockers are just back from a five day trip to Austria at the invitation of Today FM’s Ian Demspey Show, who broadcast last week from the ski resort of Bad Hofgastein. Bringing the best of Irish music to Austria, the band even played a sold-out show in Bad Hofgastein’s Town Hall.
