Furthur at the Orpheum Theatre – All Weekend: Further kick off their latest tour here in Boston with three nights at the Orpheum. Help Phil Lesh and Bob Weir get off to a great start for $58.
The Low Anthem at the Old South Church on Friday: These Providence rockers have been well-known around these parts for years but the rest of the world is really starting to notice as well. Not surprisingly, this highly anticipated show in a very unique setting is sold out.

Friday
The Saw Doctors at the House of Blues: One of our favorite Irish groups is back with their latest album, The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors. Take part in the adventure for $27.50. AM Taxi will open.
Bleu, Tracy Bonham at the Brighton Music Hall: A couple Boston’s best return to the Hub tol show off their home-bred abilities for $12. Jim Boggia opens the show.
The Figgs, Watts, Corin Ashley at Precint: A trio of the area’s best great all around rock bands team up for what should be an awesome show, especially for just $10. Tim McCoyd & The Papercuts rounds out the bill.
Brothers Past, The Indobox at the Middle East Downstairs: Show these Philly boys some brotherly love and take in some tunes from the Indobox while you’re at it. Tickets are $20.
John Waite at Showcase Live: You’ll likely hear plenty of Waite’s old hits but he’s currently working on a new album so maybe you’ll get an early glimpse. Tickets are $20.
Middle Brother, Dawes, Deer Tick at the Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel: Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes and John McCauley of Deer Tickwill do double duty as they rock sets with their own bands before teaming up as Middle Brother with Delta Spirit frontman Matthew Vasquez. Catch the three for $25.
Bon Jovi at the Mohegan Sun Arena: They just rocked Boston this week but if you missed it you can roll down to Connecticut to get your fill. Tickets are pricey, though, at $135 and $210. Hopefully you’re a high roller or can win big in the casino before the show starts.
Saturday
Rebelution at the House of Blues: It’s the “Winter Green” tour with Rebelution, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, and The Green. Tickets are $20 and $29.50 for this big ole reggae party.
Amy Grant & Michael W. Smith at the Citi Wang Theatre: Catch longtime christian contemporary singers Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith on their “Two Friends” tour for the friendly price of $35 to $65.
Ralph Stanley at the Narrows Center for the Arts: How often do we get a legendary banjo player around here? Go see the 84-year old American Icon in Fall River for $45.
Endless Wave at Great Scott: One of our “Eleven Local Artists to Watch in 2011″, Endless Wave celebrates the release of their brand new EP, Notes From The Compound. Find out why we think they are one of the city’s best new bands for just $10. Also on the bill are Eksi Ekso and The December Sound.
Murder By Death at the Middle East Downstairs: See if Murder By Death kill it at the Middle East with Fake Problems and Buried Beds. Tickets are $15.
Manowar at the Palladium: One of the loudest, hardest rocking metal bands of all-time. If you don’t get tickets, don’t worry, you’ll probably be able to hear the show all the way from Worcester. Tickets are $75.
Raul Malo at the Blue Ocean Music Hall: The former frontman for country favorites The Mavericks continues to tour in support of his latest solo effort, 2010′s Saints and Sinners. See Malo blend the genres in Salisbury for $30 or $35.
Loretta Lynn at the Calvin Theatre: The country music icon makes her way to western Massachusetts for a show at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton with the Sweetback Sisters. Tickets are $49.50 and $59.50.
Billy Ray Cyrus at the MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods Casino: Although Billy Ray has had a tough go of it lately in his personal life we’re sure he’ll be up to his normal standards at “The Wonder of It All”. Tickets are a very affordable $20 to $40.
Sunday
Dr. John at the Bull Run: The Bull Run in Shirley is kicking off Mardi Gras early by bringing in New Orleans legend Dr. John and his band The Lower 911. Very few tickets remain to see this year’s Rock Hall inductee in such an intimate setting for $75 .
The Get Up Kids at the Paradise Rock Club: The Kansas City rockers just released their first full length album since 2004 with There Are Rules. Now there’s a reason to celebrate. See them with Miniature Tigers and Brian Bonz for $20.
Chris Botti at the Zeiterion Theatre: One of the bestselling Jazz artists in the business makes a stop in New Bedford. We’re sure he won’t have a hard time selling this one out so get your tickets fast for $48.50 to $59.50.
