July Must-See: It's Music Festival Month in the Yukon

Later in the month is the territory's signature event: the Dawson City Music Festival, which runs from July 15-17 this year. DCMF has been around since the late 1970s, and over the years it's attracted top-notch performers from across the country, sometimes "discovering" them just before they get big. Alumni range from Blue Rodeo to the Weakerthans to Buffy Sainte-Marie, and this year's lineup is similarly varied. Tickets are available online, but you'll want to move fast: DCMF is a sure bet to sell out.
