The Summer Global Music Voyage isn’t quite a festival, and it isn’t outdoors. But the world-music series inside the Higher Ground Showcase Lounge in South Burlington is offering quite a bit of music this summer, including a couple of concerts in the coming week: 8 p.m. Saturday with the South African group Freshlyground; and 8 p.m. Wednesday with the multi-cultural American ensemble Rupa and the April Fishes. $16 in advance, $20 day of show each. 652-0777, www.highergroundmusic.com. 07/06/11 >> go there
