All the way from Miami, Suenalo will be playing at New York’s S.O.B.’s. Their mixture of funk, hip hop, afrobeats, and pop is contagious, we dare you to try and stand still throughout this show. Hailing from South Africa, Freshlyground will start the night off. You might remember their collaboration with Shakira on the anthem for the 2010 World Cup, “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa).” There will be no better way to celebrate Hump Day aka Wednesday than with these two acts.
