Safety Fifth (June 12, 2012) darts a gypsy caravan through Raymond Scott zaniness, oompa-loompa bounce, and monster-movie soundtrack zip, with an overwhelming flood of brass and percussion. Mostly though, it makes you wanna see them live again, specifically in one of their preferred non-traditional environments. Well, lucky day: the band-geek collective offers just that with a free gig on the Studs Terkel Bridge, at Division and Halsted, before supporting Andrew Bird at Auditorium Theatre later in the evening.”
