Bustin' loose on Brady Street
Three stages of music, a pro-wrestling ring and BMX stunt team performing in a showcase. Oh, and a drag show.
That's how they throw a street party on Brady St.
The Brady Street Festival kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday, with musical performances starting at noon. The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music samba unit plays the Bud Light Island Main Stage on the west end of Brady St.; Luvahl plays the Brady Locals Stage at Humboldt Ave., and Sound Travels Live with 88Nine is on the Nomad World Music Stage on the east end of Brady St.
Look for shows from Boy Blue, Urban Express, Mucca Pazza, Thriftones, Misha Siegfried, Matthew Haeffel, Mississippi Cactus, RAS Movement featuring Naima Adedapo, the Delta Routine, Maritime, Fever Marlene and Herman Astro through 9:30 p.m.
The Boyz Will Be Girlz drag show begins at 9 p.m. on the Bud Light Island Main Stage. Pro Wrestling begins at 3:30 p.m. in the Casablanca Rumble II ring.
