Several Westside restaurants will participate in the fourth annual Taste of Italy, a fundraiser for the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles, serving some of the best and most authentic Italian flavors.

The event will be held at the historic Pico House, located at 424 North Main St. in Los Angeles on Oct. 13 from 5-10 p.m.

Taste of Italy will feature restaurants awarded with the Marchio Ospitalita’ Italiana – which translates to the seal of Italian hospitality – and is one of the highest gastronomic excellence awards for Italian restaurants worldwide.

Restaurant’s from the Westside will include Marina del Rey’s Locanda Positano and Santa Monica’s Locanda Del Lago, Obika Mozzarella Bar and Casa Torelli Imports, Westwood’s Pastina Trattoria and Il Fornaio, Il Postaio, Domodimonti and My Vienna Gelato from Beverly Hills.

There will be over 50 restaurants and wineries participating in the event, that will include live music from Mama Marjas, an Italian reggae band, and classical musicians Nicole Nale and Luca Ellis. I Zanni will perform traditional commedia dell’arte, traditional Italian masked theatre.
