A Vibrant trio of leading exponents of Venezuelan instrumental music, Marco Granados, Roberto Koch and Jorge Glem join forces to present a program filled with Venezuelan spontaneity, rhythmic intensity and joyful virtuosity. The program with highlight traditional Venezuelan music written by such masters as Alberto “Beto” Valderama and Antonio Lauro as well as leading-edge composers such as Aquiles Baez, Agelvis Sanchez Daza and Rodner Padilla. Original compositions by Marco Granados and Jorge Glem will also be featured.
Venezuelan Classical folk music has risen in recent years to become one of the most exciting genres in Latin American music today and is characterized by the complex interplay of rhythm with unbridled virtuosity.
