Turn your living space into the Left Bank with just one simple 35 minute disc! This dozen tunes is filled with accordions, gipsy guitars, waltzing rhythms, berets, nasal sounding chanteuses and romantic bohemian attitudes galore. Madeleine Peyroux coos convincingly on “La Javanaise” while Raphael Bas swings through a jaunty take of “Confessin’”. Ladies like Juliette Greco (“La Valse Brune”) and gents such as Patrick Nugier (“Jardin d’Hiver”) take you back to a simpler time, attitude and take on life. Pop off a cork, get a baguette, and have a bon ton! 05/02/13 >> go there
