CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The 35th Annual 2013 Clearwater Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16 at Croton Point Park. The festival features seven stages with a variety of music, dance, storytelling and family-oriented programming as well as crafts, a green living expo, a waterfront with small boat exhibits and rides, a food and farm market, environmental education displays and exhibits. Some of the performers for this year’s event include festival founder Pete Seeger with Lorre Wyatt, Son Volt, Mavis Staples, Hot Tuna, Judy Collins, Jill Sobule, Tom Chapin, Kris Kristofferson. The lineup can be viewed on the festival’s website. The event is produced by the nonprofit environmental organization Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. All proceeds go directly to support environmental research, education and advocacy efforts to help protect the Hudson River. Tickets can be purchased on the festival website. Clearwater members are eligible for ticket discounts. Metro-North Railroad also offers ticket packages to bring people to the event by Hudson Line train.
