SOCORPO / Inelement (Ears Wide Open Records - merci à/thanks to ) SoCorpo est un duo de chanteurs: Sasha Bogdanowitsch et Sabrina Lastman. Ils s’accompagnent à l’autoharp, au psaltérion et au mbira. Ils chantent dans une langue inventée et utilisent aussi le multipistage et la mise en boucle. Le tout donne une musique aérienne, très agréable, quelque part entre Minimum Vital et Enya. Très belles voix, harmonies audacieuses à l’occasion, arrangements qui s’éloignent parfois de la mélodie pour aborder l’univers de la texture et du bruitisme. Ne vous laissez pas arrêter par certains aspects nouvel-âgeux (comme la pochette ou l’évocation des cinq éléments), c’est une belle découverte. They sign in a made-up language and also use multitracking and looping. Their music is aerial, quite enjoyable, somewhere between Minimum Vital and Enya. Beautiful voices, occasionally bold harmonies, arrangements that will at times sidestep melody in favour of noise-based textures. Don’t let the new-agey aspects (the artwork, the evocation of the five elements) stop you from discovering Inelement.
