The latest music compilation project by the Red Hot Organization, “an international organization dedicated to fighting AIDS through pop culture,” is 'RED HOT + FELA,' a collection of covers of songs by Fela Kuti, the Nigerian musician and activist who died from AIDS-related complications in 1997.

Among the musicians contributing to 'RED HOT + FELA' are Red Bull Sound Select artist Chance the Rapper, My Morning Jacket, Tony Allen, members of TV On the Radio, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, and the Kronos Quartet.

The first single is 'Lady,' performed by ?uestlove, tUnE-yArDs, Angélique Kidjo and Akua Naru. The full track list for the album, out October 8 through Knitting Factory Records, is below.
