Jackline kasiva is known to many for her prowess with the drums, she has been a percussionist for the longest time. She has now been selected along side Blinky Bill from just a band to represent Kenya in The OneBeat2013 Tour Event across the United States.

OneBeat is an initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, produced by Bang on a Can’s Found Sound Nation. This September OneBeat will bring 25 musicians from around the world to the U.S. for a month-long residency and tour. Fellows create original material, conduct workshops with youth and communities groups, and perform for audiences across the U.S.

Kasiva has worked with various artistes including Kidum and our very own beautiful and talentd Ameelina. She is also a part of The Safaricom Live tour. She also performed alongside reggae icon Anthony B during his tour to Kenya .This is also not her first time to tour abroad courtesy of her drumming skills. She was also part of Out Of Africa tour last year September to December in Europe, they visited Holland, Denmark and Belgium performing. Good example of young Kenyan ladies making an impact in the society. Good work Kasiva
