Globalfest, an annual festival designed to showcase a variety of international musicians, has announced the lineup that will perform at Webster Hall in January. The one-night event is to feature a dozen acts, including Fanfare Ciocarlia, a Romanian brass band; Hassan Hakmoun, a Moroccan artist who focuses on Gnawa trance music; and Wu-Force, a folk group that features Abigail Washburn, Kai Welch and Wu Fei. Now in its 11th year, Globalfest is scheduled for Jan. 12 and will take place on three separate stages. Among the other artists to perform are Baloji, an Afropop rapper, and Como Mamas, a gospel a cappella trio from Mississippi.
