Ferrer is renowned Cuban singer and self-taught guitarist whose compositions are absolutely and unmistakably unique. He even created his own genre, the changüisa, which describes a feminine, flowing version of Cuban music style known as changüi. In this recording he gives us another outstanding display of intimate poetic ballads sung in impeccable harmonies with his daughter, Lena Ferrer.
At 63, Ferrer explained that the title of his first recording in three years does not indicate in any way that this is the end of his artistic career, but that he still has many years of composing sweet mutterings about romance and the ups and downs of life.
