Dudu Tassa Plays the Al-Kuwaitis
When Wednesday, March 12, 2014 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm Where Museum of Jewish Heritage- A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, 36 Battery Place Israeli rock star Tassa returns to his musical roots by playing the music of his grandfather and great-uncle, known as the Al-Kuwaiti Brothers, who were central figures in the Iraqi music world of the 1930s. $35, $30 students/seniors, $25 members Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Discovery and Recovery: Preserving Iraqi Jewish Heritage.
