Les Yeux Noirs, Jan 19 at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall: This six-piece French group was amazing, playing a strange, striking mix of Eastern European klezmer music and Gypsy styles, highlighted by a pair of violinists brothers named Slabiak. It was fresh, powerful, unique and unforgettable. 12/28/03
