HAZMAT MODINE (Tomorrow) Scruffy old blues and swing become the vehicle in which this kitchen-sink New York band two harmonicas, guitars and a jungle gym of brass wanders the world in a kind of musical travelogue: now visiting Eastern European Gypsy sounds, now Jamaican rocksteady, now some Tuvan throat singing. Unlike a lot of high-concept globalists, Hazmat Modine makes it all work by maintaining a strong sense of home. At 7:30 p.m., Joe's Pub, at the Public Theater, 425 Lafayette Street, at Astor Place, East Village, (212) 967-7555, joespub.com; $15. (Sisario)
