Drop the Dept (or Annulons la Dette for you French speakers) is on the streets to raise awareness of the staggering dept carried by so many Third World countries. The CD features megawatt world music performers Cesaia Evora, Chico Cesar, and Oliver Mtukudzi, and the majority of its sixteen songs are original. World Village is releasing the CD worldwide and partnering with the international debt cancellation groups to spread the word. The U.S. partner is Jubilee USA. 01/01/04
