Accent, CD Review >>
The new album, SU, by Istanbul's Mercan Dede, means "water", whcih sturates every aspect of the record. A blend of Sufi belief, acoustic Turkish music and electronica makes for a very colorful and interesting sound. The album is about a feeling of calmness and a spiritual cleansing. His last album was "Naar" which means "fire", so his next two albums will conver breath and earth. 05/01/05 >> go there
