Ensemble to celebrate Mexican culture, music
AVONDALE - Celebrate the spiritual birth of Mexican culture with the music of the San Antonio Vocal Arts Ensemble at 8 p.m. Friday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 13720 W. Thomas Road, Avondale. SAVAE performs a fusion of indigenous American and Spanish Colonial musical styles to pay homage to Mexico's patron saint, the Virgin of Guadalupe.
