ION PETRE STOICAN/Sounds From a Bygone Age V. 1:Recorded in 1965 as a reward for turning in a spy, a musician with a passion for gypsy sounds got his
wish and it's pretty much been hidden away in obscurity for all these years. Now we get to enjoy and old recording of even older music, much of which world have probably been lost otherwise. He got great talent to join him and this is a wild, special outing that world music fans will want to glom onto quickly as they just might not see it again. Balkan, gypsy stuff that really tickles the ear and wants you to get the party started.
