Balancing act
Cape Verdean singer and songwritcr Sara Tavares is wise beyond her 27 years. The title track on her recently released album, "Balance," refers to more than the Portuguese translation of the word, which is a "dancing groove." According to Tavares, it's also about "balancing yourself between sadness and joy; day and night; salt and sugar. It's about balancing emotions."
