Cape Verdean by way of Portugal, where she now lives, Lura sings the songs of her native land (both modern and traditional) with warmth and supple energy -- everything seems very relaxed and medium-tempo, but there's a restless vibrancy to the music that makes it quite intoxicating. And Lura's voice is a consistent delight. Highly recommended.  05/01/07 >> go there
