WHO The son of the legendary African guitarist Ali Farka Toure, Vieux's remarkable debut mixes the traditional Mali blues of his father with more modern rock and reggae notes. He even got the chance to collaborate with his dad on two tracks before Ali passed away last year. "It was the proudest moment of my life to date," says Vieux. "I always use his music as my guide. It's my foundation."
