The son of guitarist Ali Farka Touré, Vieux Farka Touré has lived up to his father's international legend. Proving he is a talent in his own rite, Touré draws upon his father's musical roots and provides audiences with a similar mesmerizing sound, all the while adding a fresher tone. Performing at the Wexner Center for the Arts tonight at 8 p.m., he is ready to show Ohio State the reason African music transcends all cultures.
