With so many different summer concert series, who has the time to keep track of who’s playing when and where?
Don’t panic, Viva has done the legwork. We have peered through the schedules of nearly a dozen series - from SummerStage to Queens Theatre in the Park - plus concert venues across the five boroughs, for our third annual Summer Latin Music Calendar.
The city will host almost 80 music events with Latino artists over the next three months, over half of them free, ranging from superstars like Ricardo Arjona and Juan Luis Guerra to rock acts like Café Tacvba and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs to jewels like Buika and Totó la Momposina, not to mention a wide range of A-list salsa bands.
As always, schedules can change, so check before you head out. And enjoy!
