MUSIC - Béla Fleck’s Africa Project
The pairing of American banjo star Béla Fleck with West African ngoni virtuoso Bassekou Kouyaté is hard to resist—both men are arguably the best living players on their respective instruments. (And note the similarities between those instruments.) The pair play songs from the Grammy-winning album Throw Down Your Heart, which documents Fleck’s musical adventures in Africa.
