Evie Ladin
Tonight @ Freight & Salvage: Whether she's belting out old-time tunes with the Stairwell Sisters, calling a square dance or executing syncopated dance moves with husband and rhythmic partner Keith Terry, Evie Ladin is a natural entertainer with a gift for infusing folk practices with contemporary verve. Celebrating the release of her first album under her own name, "Float Downstream," Ladin presents her band with violist and harmony vocalist Dina Maccabee, Erik Pearson on banjo and guitar, and Terry on percussion and body music mischief, plus a bevy of special guests. 8 p.m., $18.50-$19.50, all ages. 2020 Addison St., Berkeley.
