Bay Area concerts feature Kitka, Pharaoh's Daughter, Steven Bernstein and Peter Apfelbaum, Klezmer Buenos Aires, Early Music from Italy, and Pop from Israel.     • Efforts to revive Jewish music date back more than a century. Music scholars Benjamin Brinner (UC Berkeley), Judah Cohen (Indiana University) and Edwin Seroussi (The Hebrew University), will explore early attempts to restore Sephardic and Ashkenazi musical traditions. They will be joined by Martin Schwartz (UC Berkeley), whose record collection was seminal to the klezmer revival. Moderated by Francesco Spagnolo (The Magnes).
